Suitable for fixed installations in telecommunication installations; used in fire risk environments to minimize damage in the event of a fire.
Structure
- Solid bare copper conductor
- Core isolation: Halogen-free polymer (HI 2)
- Plastic foil sheet
- Static screen: Plastic-coated aluminum foil and 0.6 mm or 0.8 mm drainage wire
- Outer sheath: Halogen-free polymer (HM 2), red in color and printed "BRANDMELDEKABEL" (fire alarm cable)
Information
The conductors are twisted in a star-quad pattern; each unit has 5 quads and the units are placed in layers. Layers are identified by colored bands.
